All you need to know when trying to ge around Denver is that the
Mountains are in the West! This makes travel and navigation very
easy.
Main Routes North / South
The main route is I-25. This comes up from Castle Rock, cuts over
C470 and heads up past the Denver Tech Center and through the center
of Denver. North of Denver it continues to Northglenn and ultimately
to Fort Collins.
East / West
The main route is I-70 which come in from the eastern plains, cuts
across the northern edge of Denver and then heads up into the mountains,
past Evergreen and on to Vail.
470
470 is a ring-road around Denver. To the South and West it is known
as C470 and is a freeway. To the east it is a toll road and is
called E-470. E-470 will take you from the southern suburbs of Denver
all the way to the Airport in about 45-50 minutes - and will cost
around $5.

Route 36 is a 4 lane highway that branches off from I-25 just north
of Denver and heads north west over to Boulder.

Rout 225 cuts across the eastern suburbs of Denver, from I-25 around
the Denver Tech Center, north east up to I-70.

At 53 square miles, Denver International Airport is the nation's
largest, an area so large it could hold the Dallas-Fort Worth
Airport
and Chicago
O'Hare Airport combined.
